| Much like Haiti, the Dominican Republic side of the island is a very diverse country as well. The geographical diversity from the mountains, to sugar cane fields, coffee and banana plantations, and tomato fields. It is a much more stable country where the people have a much better life style; although they too have their areas of the poverty stricken poor. The diversity of religion goes from voodoo, Catholicism, to Christianity and everything in between. Even though these Haitians have come to the Dominican Republic side of the island to find work, and a better life style. There greatest need is still Christ. |
