Earthquake Update

We wanted to give you another update on what is being done with the love gifts you have given toward
helping the Haitian people in their time of tragedy. To date, we have already bought and distributed
over 16 tons of rice, beans, oil, etc. We have also been providing care boxes to the people here who were
in the hospitals being treated for injuries from the earthquake. When they are released they receive a box
or sack filled with food, clothes, shoes, a tarp or tent for temporary housing when they are returned to
Haiti. We also put in their care package sheets, towels, a large pot for cooking along with utensils, 6
plates, 6 spoons, 6 glasses, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, etc. And these are just
the basics that they are going to need just to get started. We plan to try to add to these care packages,
a sleeping bag, flashlight with batteries and even a small mattress that can be rolled up. Even with the
things that we are providing, for some of these people who have lost a leg or an arm or in many cases
both, and also permanent back injuries, even this gesture will not truly be sufficient to meet their needs.
But we praise God that through these efforts, there have been 15 people come to know Christ as their
personal Lord and Savior. We continue to witness to these people daily in hopes that we will see even
more saved. Please pray with us about this. We have also been able to deliver crutches and a wheelchair
to some of these victims which they were very very thankful for. You will see some of these children in the
new updated pictures. God bless you all who have given toward these needs. Please continue to pray
that God would give us wisdom as we continue to help the Haitian people.
